Biography of N. Dharam Singh

Dharam Singh Narayan Singh was an Indian politician, born on December 25, 1936. He was the 17th Chief Minister of Karnataka and gave his service to the State from the year 2004 to 2006. For seven consecutive years, he also was a Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. In the 14th Lok Sabha, he was a Member of the Parliament from Bidar. He passed away on July 27, 2017, due to a cardiac arrest. Early Life of Dharam Singh Singh was born in Jewargi taluk, in the Nelogi village of Gulbarga District, which in those days was in the Hyderabad State and in present-day, belongs to Karnataka. He has a Master’s and is a law degree holder from Osmania University, Hyderabad and was a practicing advocate.
